ePlans Service Upgrade
Mississauga ePlans Service has been upgraded. With this upgrade, you will notice differences in terms of accepting tasks and viewing / responding to correction items (checklist items and change-marks) for new projects that you will submit on or after April 22, 2019.
To assist you with the transition, ePlans support guides have been revised and a link to the ePlans Upgrade Applicant Presentation has been provided for reference. To access the support guides and the presentation, please refer to the links below in the Help & Support section.
Internet Explorer Users – Install NEW ProjectDox Components
On or after April 22, 2019, all users accessing ePlans service using Internet Explorer browser must install NEW ProjectDox Components from the Mississauga ePlans Login Page. Administrative privileges are required on the computer to complete the installation.
No additional action is required for users accessing ePlans service using other browsers such as Edge, Chrome, Safari and FireFox.
Submission of online request requires the applicant to complete the online form, pay an administrative fee (where applicable), upload plans and documents and complete the "Applicant Upload" task. Please read the Applicant Guide to familiarize yourself with the process.
City staff will begin Pre-screening the request only after the "Applicant Upload" task is completed. Your initial request may take from 3 to 5 business days to be pre-screened.
An incomplete submission delays the pre-screening process for everyone. Please read the Applicant Guide to familiarize yourself with the process.
Paper Submissions for Building Permits
The following building permit types are still available for paper submission at the counter - backwater valves, emergency plumbing repairs, sewer conversions, pre-zoning applications and occupancy prior to completion.
